Health and care partners from across south east London are celebrating the achievements of staff who have given one million Covid-19 vaccinations as part of the efforts to prevent people from getting seriously ill from COVID-19.

Speaking of this important milestone, South East London Integrated Care System (ICS) Lead, Andrew Bland said:

“I would like to thank staff and volunteers at all 57 vaccination sites across south east London and those who have supported ‘pop-up’ services in our communities who are working tirelessly to vaccinate those eligible and in turn, protect them from COVID-19.

“Whilst we celebrate this milestone achievement, we are by no means complacent. There are still residents eligible for a vaccination who are yet to come forward and we encourage you to do so. You have not missed your opportunity to get a vaccine. If you are eligible for a vaccine, simply use the national booking service or contact your GP practice.”
