Review of Mind in Bexley’s Wellbeing Line

On 1st April 2020 Mind in Bexley opened the Wellbeing Line to offer reassurance, support and advice to those struggling with their mental health during the Coronavirus pandemic.

As we moved into lockdown at the end of March 2020, Mind in Bexley anticipated the potential increased need to offer support for those who were either unable to access their normal services or had not needed help and advice before about their wellbeing.

Many local services introduced online and more digital services and Mind in Bexley recognised that to prevent people from being digitally excluded extra support was needed in the form of a phone line.

As a result, on April 1st, 2020 the Mind in Bexley Wellbeing Line opened.  The aim of the Wellbeing Line is to offer reassurance, support and advice to those struggling with their mental health at this difficult time.

The aim of this report is to find out about the experiences of Wellbeing Line callers and establish if the call was considered helpful to them.

The Mind in Bexley Wellbeing Line is open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday
